Day 3

1. Today we are going to play a trading game to see the benefits and then discuss the potential negatives of free trade. You will be divided into different groups and given two different items that you will use to trade throughout the game. I am attaching the lesson for the day which discusses how the game is played. After its completion there will be a few notes to take on the back of score cards given which will be turned in for points. Students will also be given W.S. Lesson 31 for homework. Good luck and trade away!

1. Today we are going to go over your W.S. 31 Lesson page in packets and then watch the flip side to the benefits of free trade by watching and video on Walmart and its effects on employment patterns in the US while filling out a page in packet on it as we watch.

1. Today we are going to start your last section before we take a test on Unit 7 by doing your Ch. 18 Sec. 4 notes using your answer sheet.



2. Next you will read a debate article from upfront magazine called "Is Outsourcing Good for the US?" and fill out a footnote discussing which side of the argument you agree with and turn in once we discuss it.
